our impact
At Barrier Brewing Company, our mission has always extended far beyond crafting great beer. From our very beginning, we have believed that a brewery should be a cornerstone of its neighborhood, a gathering place, and a force for good. For years, we have used our space and resources to step up for neighbors in need, partnering with local nonprofits to tear down the obstacles that divide us.
We believe a true barrier shouldn't block progress—it should protect it. We are dedicated to breaking down social and economic hurdles in our neighborhood while building a strong, inclusive space where everyone has a seat at the table.
“While the world builds obstacles, we build the Barrier that brings people together.”
Someone really wise, NY
Community Outreach
We want to keep the momentum going. Whether you are looking to host a fundraiser in our taproom, seeking a brewery sponsorship, or submitting a donation request for a worthy cause, we want to collaborate. Together, we can keep breaking down barriers, raising glasses, and lifting up the community that has always supported us.
Donation Request$
While we wish we could support every worthy cause, we focus our charitable giving on three main areas:
select beer donations for charity events
We believe in pouring back into the community that supports us.
(Common donations include draft beer kegs and /or cases of 16oz cans.)
curated gift baskets for auctions
We are proud to champion local non-profits, schools, and grassroots organizations making a real difference.
gift cards for raffles
We prioritize causes where we can make a connection and form partnerships, so if you feel there is something that you can do for us, that is a great way to connect.
WE'LL HOST YOUR NEXT FUNDRAI$ER

$pon$or U$
Every once in a while we have a great idea.
You can be a part of that too by sponsoring one of our events.
There are several ways to do this; each with their own benefit coming right back at you!
-
Monetary donations. Help to lower costs to customers for ticketed events. Sponsor the tent, the stage, the band, or even the whole event!
Each sponsor tier comes with it’s own marketing package, ways we can make it worth your while.
-
In-kind donations. Just because you may not be able to give outright money, doesn’t mean you cannot be involved. After all, we are in the same boat as a small independent business, we get it. Maybe you have something we need; a service to provide, food to donate, digital or technology service, gift baskets of your own to excite our customers?
(Marketing will be commensurate with donation and on a case by case basis to create a more tailored package.)
WE'll come to you
Want to host at your location....but don't have an alcohol permit?
No problem, we'll handle the beer!
